Capital Campaign - Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our parish's Capital Campaign.

Does the parish get all the money from the Campaign?

Yes. 100% of all money raised for the Capital Campaign stays in our parish.

How do I pledge?

A pledge amount is paid out over a 3 year period and can be paid monthly, quarterly or annually. Pledge payments can be made by check, electronically through Faith Direct e-giving or as a stock transfer.

What if my financial situation changes and I can't honor my pledge?

Pledges are not legally binding. If your financial situation changes, please notify the office.

I'm already giving a regular contribution to the parish. Is this Campaign a substitute for that offering?

No. Pledges to the capital campaign are in addition to the weekly offerings. The weekly offerings are for the ongoing operational and program expenses of the parish. The Capital Campaign funds are specifically designated for the repair and renovation of the parish's physical facilities.

Will others know how much I pledged?

No. The names and amounts of individual pledges will not be published.

How can I get more information about the Capital Campaign?

Capital Campaign packets and related materials are available in the church vestibule.
